This has been a nothing kind of day. The day started wet and the open decks stayed wet until early afternoon. A late start to the day as we danced and walked miles yesterday. Mark went to breakfast at 9:30 whilst Pam was stirring. He then joined Pam and the quiz partners for the 10:30 morning trivia quiz. Too early for quizzes and we didn’t do well.
After that, Pam went and nattered in Cafe Vivvo with passengers over a coffee and Mark read. She then had a small lunch - we are now both skipping a meal a day but not necessarily the same meal.
The afternoon was spent watching videos, reading and napping.
The ship had a tropical buffet evening on. We went but it was not that exciting - this is our 3rd one and I think the novelty is wearing off.

After food we went to the Aquarius bar open deck for music with Pulse. It was dry by now though we are still running away from the storm.

Then the highlight of the day. Pam finally got to see the headliners theatre show “Mr Tickerton’s Circus”. Pam really enjoyed it, lots of great songs, dances, acrobatics and a “elephant”. Plus lots of “The Greatest Showman” songs at the end.

We stayed up researching New Zealand as we have an extra day there and chatted to Mark’s sister and waited for our kids to come online so that we could call but they were obviously having a lie in.
As it is another sea day we will finish the deck 3 ship tour. This last section connects the Piano bar to the restaurant and is pretty much dead space. It starts with this funny kiosk thing for drinkers and smokers which is the most bizarre thing every as it is manned every day by someone who is very bored with no customers and then there will be a special day with discounts and there are the biggest queues ever and the person is probably rushed off their feet.

Next to this is a desk for flowers which is unmanned - people use reception. Finally there is the photo gallery which in olden days used to show pictures by the ship photographer but this whole area is now wasted though the art class is making use of it.
